7 to 14 NOVEMBER 2026
Test you golf skills against players from other countries, participating in the 48th CLUBE TAP OPEN, Amateur Golf Tournament taking place in Vilamoura, Algarve.
For the accommodation it is possible to choose between VILA GALE AMPALIUS **** and HYATT REGENCY VILAMOURA ALGARVE ****, both with prime location, near the Beach, Casino and Marina.
Also included is a rental car and some social events.
The Tournament will be played at the VILAMOURA LAGUNA, PINHAL, MILLENNIUM and PESTANA VILA SOL golf courses.
PROGRAMME
7 November, saturday
- Pick-up of the Rental Car at the AVIS desk in Faro / Lisbon Airport;
- Check-in at the hotel from 15:00.
8 November, sunday
- Practice round in one of the four courses;
- Welcoming Dinner at the hotel.
9 November, monday
- 1st Tournament round in one of the four courses;
- Wine Tasting at the hotel.
10 November, tuesday
- 2nd Tournament round in one of the four courses.
11 November, wednesday
- 3rd Tournament round in one of the four courses.
12 November, thursday
- 4th Tournament round in one of the four courses.
13 November, friday
- Optional Tournament round Clube TAP Challenge in one of the four courses;
- Closing Dinner & Prize giving at Alxama restaurant.
14 November, saturday
- Check-out of the hotel until 12:00;
- Drop-off of the Rental Car at the AVIS desk in Faro / Lisbon Airport.
FORMAT: Strokeplay over 72 holes (18 holes x 4 golf courses) with handicap.
The 48th TAP Open competition method will sort all golfer into four groups of equal size. All golfers will play at all four golf courses, within the four days of the tournament, in a rotation method established by draw.
This package includes:
- 7-Night stay in Standard Room at VILA GALÉ AMPALIUS **** / King/Twin Room at HYATT REGENCY VILAMOURA ALGARVE ****;
- Daily buffet breakfast;
- AVIS Rental Car (Peugeot 208 or similar) for 1 or 2 persons during 7 days;
- 1 Practice Round to choose between the four golf courses;
- 1 Competition Round at LAGUNA;
- 1 Competition Round at PINHAL;
- 1 Competition Round at MILLENNIUM;
- 1 Competition Round at PESTANA VILA SOL;
- Welcome Dinner at the hotel;
- 1 Wine Tasting at the hotel;
- Closing Dinner & Prize Giving at Alxama restaurant (Quarteira).
CAR RENTAL
Other car typologies - Fiat 500, Renault Clio / Megane / Captur, Toyota CHR Hybrid - are available on request. Car rental include unlimited mileage, basic insurances such as collision damage waiver (CDW), civil responsibility and theft protection; airport service supplement and taxes. Not included: Fuel, extra driver upgrade, vehicle upgrade, e-toll, deposit fee reduction; personal assistance insurance, super CDW, or any other extra insurances or services hired by golfers at car pick-up. AVIS has also available an exclusive super CDW insurance, upon request, with a 50% reduction over the standard price. AVIS requires a valid driver´s license and a valid credit card upon the car delivery. Extra services or upgrades hired by the driver directly at the AVIS counter, upon the car pick-up, are subject to extra charges in the driver´s credit card. It is advisable to thoroughly verify the rental conditions, as presented by the AVIS staff, before signing the car rental contract. The standard 7 days rental period counts from the pick-up hour to the drop-off hour, without any provision for delayed deliveries. Extension on the rental period is available only if booked in advance and through Clube TAP. Car sharing is possible, but not advisable.
